Niagra Falls

I can’t recall a single event or situation I would call the moist vitalizing moment of my life. Once I remember standing a few yards above Niagria Falls and gazing down at the rushing water, a baby, Sally, was in my arms and Neel, a toddler, tugging at my hand. The water was like a siren, calling alluringly to me. Its dark waves were magnetically enticing. I felt a frightening urge to jump in the water, to be carried away by something so powerful. It felt overwhelming and the way Neel tugged at my hand, pulling toward the water, I think he felt it too.

Something mysterious and very compelling was in the water. I felt so little and longed to be a part of something so All powerful and energetic. I felt alive in the presence of something so big and so powerful. Bubbles of joy came together for a brief moment – then vanished.
